How getting started works

Four steps, at your pace

There’s no rush and no jargon. If you’re feeling overwhelmed, we can make recommendations — we have a great deal of experience in what works in different situations.

    A first conversation

    Call us or send an enquiry and we’ll arrange to talk — on the phone first, then in person if you’d like. There’s no cost and no obligation. This is simply us getting to know you and the person who needs care.

  2. 02

    A visit to understand the needs

    The best care starts with an initial meeting where the family and the person meet a Precious Hope coordinator. Together we review the care needed, any schedule requests, and the specific wishes of the person and family.

  3. 03

    A care plan built around the person

    We turn that conversation into a personalised care plan — covering physical needs like washing, dressing, meals, mobility and medication, alongside the emotional side: company, activities and staying connected.

  4. 04

    Care begins, and we stay in touch

    Familiar carers begin visiting, visits are monitored electronically, and we keep families updated. If plans change or a worry comes up, there’s always someone at the office to talk to.

  • If a carer is running late, you get a call — no one we support reported a missed visit at our last CQC inspection.
  • We seek regular feedback from the people we care for and their families, and act on it.
  • Our carers work in partnership with GPs and health professionals as needs change.
  • There’s always a real person to reach across our Leicester and Northampton offices.
